I travelled out to Nunawading to meet Mark Mortelliti, the owner of Lifestyle Furniture last Wedensday. He had heard about Google’s new “Street View goes inside” and had seen a demo from a shop in New York City. He felt as soon as he heard about the product it was something he would be interested in for his shop.
I explained the process over the phone to him and the fact that Google Business Photos was just a logical extension of Street View it was very easy to to move to the next stage – booking a time in for his Panoramic Photoshoot.
Once on site we walked the floor together and worked out what the tour would be like. As he had an upstairs loft section in the back of the store we were even able to get a sweeping panorama that in one view showed off the size of his operation.
In less than an hour all 30 panoramas were captured and I was heading back to Melbourne.
The tour went live on the Google System the following Monday and you can see that great panoramic view from high up in the embedded version below.
A fantastic tour and yet another very happy customer. All thanks to the combination of my panoramic capture skills and the world class Google post production and delivery system.
